Dr. Stoughton is a large animal internal medicine specialist. He works as part of the Large Animal Hospital team treating various medical and surgical conditions in large animals. Most of his cases are referred from other veterinarians in the community. For example, if your horse needs intensive medical care or advanced diagnostics because it is not responding to treatment at the farm, he will be leading the team to care for your animal. He has a particular interest in veterinary parasitology, neonatology, neurology, diagnostic ultrasonography and equine cardiology.

Dr. Stoughton currently has 4 children, 8 chickens, 3 cats, 2 horses, and 1 dog and is greatly helped by his lovely wife of over 15 years. His hobbies include photography, vegetable farming and creating and eating spicy salsa. He seeks to live Coram Deo.
