Providing an outstandinglevel of health care forour animal patients.

Dr. Lynne O’Sullivan

I graduated from the DVM program at AVC, UPEI in 1998, then completed a one-year Small Animal Rotating Internship at the Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, followed by a three-year clinical residency and graduate degree (Doctor of Veterinary Science) in Veterinary Cardiology also at the University of Guelph. I became board-certified in Cardiology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2003. I was a faculty member at the University of Guelph for 15 years before moving back East and joining the AVC faculty in 2018.

I share the responsibilities for the Cardiology Service in the Small Animal Clinic with my colleague, Dr. Etienne Cote. We evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients referred for heart disease. In providing this clinical service, we are simultaneously teaching senior-year veterinary students and veterinarians in advanced clinical training (interns and residents). So our clinical service consists of a whole team of individuals dedicated to the care of our patients and clients. I love all things Cardiology, but have particular interest in cardiac imaging and a group of diseases called cardiomyopathies.

I love skiing, hiking, cooking, baking, and eating:) My two young boys and our beloved black cat keep me very busy at home!
