Dr. Kiavash Farahi

My name is Kiavash Farahi. I was born and raised in Iran, where I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree in 2015 from Azad University, Iran. After completing a surgical residency at the Science and Research Branch of Azad University in Tehran, Iran, I achieved board certification in small animal surgery in 2022. I have more than nine years of experience working closely with animals and performing a wide range of surgeries, including soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.
I am currently in a rotating internship position at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH), where my goal is to care for animals in need and assist in their treatment and recovery. My professional interests include orthopedic surgery, surgical oncology, neurosurgery, and minimally invasive surgery.
In August 2023, I moved to PEI with my wife, and our cat, Tila. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, cooking, watching movies, and participating in outdoor activities with my wife.
