Providing an outstandinglevel of health care forour animal patients.

Dr. Cate Creighton

I received my DVM from AVC at UPEI. I was a mixed animal veterinarian for nine years, then a small animal clinician for two years before I returned to academia and completed my residency in anesthesia and analgesia and MSc, also at AVC/UPEI. I am a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia.I am one of the veterinary anesthesiologists at AVC. I work closely with the small and large animal medicine and surgery, community practice, exotics/wildlife and dermatology services in the VTH. I teach pre-clinical DVM students as well as fourth year students participating in their anesthesia rotation. My professional interests include pain management, local and regional blocks and constant rate infusions in large and small animal species.

My hobbies include mountain biking, paddling, running and participating in all things outdoors with my husband. We have three cats: rescue cat Percy and oriental shorthairs Cricket and Odo.
